Posted By: Bedel Financial

In June 2014, Bedel Financial Consulting, Inc. was honored to be included in the inaugural edition of Financial Times' FT 300, a list of the nation's Top Registered Investment Advisors. More than 2,000 applicants were considered based on six criteria: amount of assets managed, growth rate of assets, years in business, compliance record, industry certifications and online accessibility. "In a field of outstanding financial professionals, the FT 300 should be considered a list of truly exceptional adviser firms," said Loren Fox, director of research for Money-Media, which oversees original industry research and analysis for the Financial Times. Making this elite list recognizes Bedel Financial Consulting's dedication to its clients.

More than 2,000 firms that met the initial qualification ($300 million or more in assets under management) were invited to apply for consideration to the list. Selection criteria was based on six factors:

  1. Amount of assets under management (indicates client trust)
  2. Growth rate of those assets (indicates performance and ability to generate new business)
  3. Number of years in business (indicates the firm’s reliability and experience)
  4. Compliance record
  5. Industry certifications - CFA, CFP®, etc. (indicates commitment to obtaining investment skills and knowledge)
  6. Online accessibility (transparency was key)

"It's exciting to be recognized as one of the nation's top registered investment advisers in the inaugural edition of the FT 300," said Elaine E. Bedel, CFP®, CEO and president of Bedel Financial Consulting. "Since I founded the firm 25 years ago, Bedel Financial has strived to serve the best interests of our clients with integrity and expertise.
